I am St Louis City Real Estate Agent specialist. I currently reside in Tower Grove East and have lived in the city for 10 years. I have gotten to know the great things about what this city has to offer and I’ve learned where the challenges are as well.
I am passionate about having a great life in this city. This area has so much to offer… it’s alive… it’s vibrant… and there are some really amazing communities that accepts all and offers diversity at it’s best.
There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional – integrity, in-depth community & market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and above all communication with the client throughout the entire transaction, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a St. Louis real estate professional, I’ve found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs. This “client first” philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business.
My main promise to you is to keep you informed and updated every step of the way. Whether you are buying or selling, I will stay in touch throughout the entire process so you understand where we are, what is happening and what will be expected. I also make myself available day or night so that when you have a question,
I specialize in most areas of the city as well as Maplewood, Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Crestwood and Affton areas. Buying and selling in the city of St. Louis is much different than buying in other areas of St. Louis. It requires a very specific knowledge of the areas and the homes in that area.
I have experience working with buyers, and specialize in first time home buyers. Buying a home for the first time is exciting and a bit overwhelming. I’ll help you every step of the way and help you understand the process so you are comfortable and informed. I hold first time home buyer seminars specifically to educate buyers so they can be their own advocates and start to familiarize their selves with the process.
Working with sellers is always exciting. It’s a big process to properly prepare a home for sale. I will walk you through everything you need to get your home ready for sale and set yourself up for a successful sale and transition.
I have always worked with many investors – so if you are looking for properties to buy & hold or flip, please call me to discuss your specific criteria. I will help you find the right investment for your needs!
So when you decide that you’d like to buy, sell or invest in St. Louis, please contact me, I will do my very best to provide you with the level of service you so richly deserve.
The SRS designation is the premier credential in seller representation. It is designed to elevate professional standards and enhance personal performance. The designation is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) to real estate practitioners with advanced professional training essential to representing sellers.
Determining property values depends more than ever on professional expertise and competence, the best use of technology, and approaching the pricing assignment from various perspectives.
As a PSA certified real estate agent I can better select appropriate comparables, make accurate adjustments, guide sellers and buyers through the details of CMA’s and the underlying pricing principles that inform them and appropriately price a property. This certification gave me an insight on how appraisers work and price properties as well as how to interact effectively with appraisers to ensure properties are appraised more accurately.
HOW I GOT INTO REAL ESTATE
I was first introduced to this real estate thing when I went to sell my first house. I thought who better to sell my house but me!? The only issue…I was NOT a real estate agent at the time. I was naive and figured ‘how hard can it be’?
Now, the one thing I did was tons of research and I bought books (and actually read them) on selling my house as a ‘For Sale By Owner’. I followed everything in the book and did exactly what it said to do, step-by-step. I look back now and laugh at how much I didn’t really know – I will say that ignorance is bliss.
Did I sell my house? Yep, sure did. But I still ended up hiring a real estate agent to do all the paperwork, because in the end you either pay an agent or an attorney to review the transaction, help with title and the close of the sale.
After going through the process of selling my house a new passion was born. I really did enjoy the process and found it very fascinating. From that point on I was obsessed with real estate, so a few years later I actually obtained my license.
OUTSIDE OF REAL ESTATE
Beyond real estate I also volunteer on the Board of Directors at Gateway To Dreams, a non-profit dedicated to helping others achieve success in all areas of their life. I also recently started volunteering my time to Fresh Start helping them develop their website and social media sites. Fresh Start is a non-profit that employees homeless individuals by making exceptionally high quality dog food. They are all about people helping pets and pets helping people!
On A Personal Note…
All that is great information, but what about the biggest question of all….Where did you go to High School?
Answer: East Richland High School
Huh? Where is that?! Well, it’s not in St. Louis. I grew up in southern Illinois in a small town called Olney with a population of about 8,500. Olney is known as home of the white squirrels, they are actually albino squirrels with pink eyes. So no, I didn’t go to high school here, but I’m still pretty cool!
I met my husband at a bar (you know, the old fashion way) after moving to St. Louis and will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this year. We have two kids, a girl and a boy. So if you have questions on navigating the city schools and what’s right for your family, I can probably help.
We also have a dog that we rescued from a shelter. He was an owner surrender at the shelter (meaning his previous owners gave him up), we took a chance on him and won. He is the perfect case study as to why every dog deserves a second home. Oh, don’t get me wrong, he can drive us crazy sometimes but he is also as sweet as they come! He is the definition of happy and all things happy. He loves balls, bubbles, balloons…and his family. Bubbles, oh, bubbles, just say the word and he goes nuts. You can see how happy they make him.
…and last but not least
Life in the city is pretty awesome, so come along with me and let me help you buy your first place…or maybe your next home. If you are thinking of selling, you need a realtor that understands your neighborhood and the local market, so if i can’t help you I will point you in the right direction.
To be able to help a client find a home is a true honor. Your home is where life happens, dreams are created, and where memories are made. To have a part in helping find the right place to allow this to happen can only be done with honesty and integrity. And it is my pleasure to be a part of it.
